Lange Wider Boot Last ... Then and Now

For those most familiar with the Lange boot line, can you tell me the main differences in fit and performance between their wider boot last from the Fluid 100 (2009)/Fluid 10 (2010) series to the new RS Wide/RX series?  While I know they both have 100mm forefoot width lasts and 100 flex options, is that where the similarity ends?

I am not knowledgeable about the older model langes, but I'm betting Sierra JIm knows this.  Hopefully he'll see this thread.

RX series fits a foot, Fluid fits a football.
