Booted up in knee-to-waist deep snow. It didn't ski deep, but the rocks were pretty much all covered.

The snow was really nice and smooth, but it was a bit frustrating to boot up waist-deep snow and only ski 2 inches on the way down. Considering I'd been sitting behind a desk at sea-level for the last 5 months, postholing in deep, heavy snow, with the world's heaviest skis, at 10,000 feet wasn't as easy as it normally is for me. It took almost 45 minutes to go up 550 vertical or so, which is absurdly slow for me.
