Hi. I have a little dilemma here. I just bought Rossi Experience 88 162cm. I am 5'11" and 195 pounds. I ski in Poconos and upstate NY and I would consider myself low intermediate, mostly blue runs sometimes black. I usually ski faster than most skiers on trail. I used to ski on old style 174cm skis and I considered them slightly too long for me. So I watched a ton of youtube tutorials and red a lot. Most of people suggest that for my level, skis should reach mouth area when standing on tails and that is why I got 162. They really seem short when I put them on. Rossignol website suggest I get 178 for my weight, which I think is too long for me. I plan to use these skis for next 5 or 6 years since I dont ski that often. Should I exchange them for 170 and leave some room for improvement? I really dont have experience with new carving skis and I would appreciate your suggestions.
