I really like the way the resort guides on Epicski continue to be fleshed out with useful details, reviews, and photos by ambassadors and regular members. One thing that is lacking (unless I've missed it), is a box with quick and dirty key statistics for each ski area; for example:
- Base elevation: 2250'
- Summit elevation: 3000’
- Vertical Drop: 750’
- Longest run: 1.25 miles
- Lifts: 2 high speed six packs, 3 quad chairs, 5 triple chairs, 4 surface lifts
- Skiable terrain: 35 trails, 285 acres
- Average annual snowfall: 110"
- 2011 daily lift-ticket price $69 weekdays, $79 weekends/holidays
This should be short and simple, perhaps uniform, but even just the basics about lifts, elevation, vertical, runs/acres would be great.
Does anyone recommend edits or additions to above stats list, best/prominent location for where to put this on each resort's page, or other approaches? If I get motivated I may start entering this data for a bunch of my favorite ski areas.
