Proper Ski Length for 5'2" Adavnced Female

I'm relatively new to the sport, and as such I obsess over gear. My wife, on the other hand, has been skiing since she was a kid and doesn't know or care much about gear. She skis on what she has. She loves the idea of new skis, but mostly because they are pretty. Though she's an advanced skier, she doesn't know anything about the technical aspects of the equipment.

She's been skiing a pair of K2 Tru Luv skis in 160 for the last 6-7 years. I decided she could use an upgrade, and picked her up a pair of Volkl Kenjas in 163.

I was thinking that she could probably ski something longer, and might enjoy doing so a great deal more than the 163s, but I don't know much about pairing skis with the skier.

As mentioned, she's 5'2" and can ski anywhere on the mountain.

Am I right in thinking that the 170s might suit her better, or is she better off with the 163s at 5'2"?

without seeing her ski, I would tend to go for the 163s

some Volkl's are made with a women's and men's topsheet, identical otherwise, so know that if this is the case with the Kenja the ski is quite strong, therefore capable of a wide range of performance in a shorter length. The K2's are not as stiff as the Volkl she now has. I would not go longer than 163cm.

edit: looked up the ski and it is a women's specific engineered and designed ski, with a light core and a softer tail flex. still very capable in a range of conditions in a 163cm. the narrow tail at 19mm taper is interesting. and the tip at 43mm is equal to the edge profile of some moderate carvers. tell us how it skis with those dims.

Thanks for the responses. Glad to hear it isn't the case that she should obviously be on the 170s.
