early sierra snows - october 5, 6, and ?7?

it'd be hard not to hear about the snow hitting the west recently. wolf creek, colorado is opening this saturday with over three feet falling recently. while there are no opening plans here in tahoe, we've gotten great results from this last storm.

here's some pics from wednesday and thursday (they're bigger here)

first run of the season. with my cell phone

Doesn't seem fair...it's supposed to be in the 80's in NJ this weekend.

wasn't sure where you were heading going into that slot under/next to the rock  - Nice work.  I didn't here much scraping or crunching.

Nicely done!  Where is it?

 

I skied Sentinel once on Sept. 30th with about 2' of fresh blower & weeds sticking up the whole way, never hit a thing.
