NWS in Great Falls has issued a winter weather advisory for parts of southwest Montana, including West Yellowstone which is not far from Big Sky.

"A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE 6000 FEET BEGINNING AT 6 PM MDT."

You're right.  I could see some snow on a couple of runs at Red Lodge Mountain that are visible from Billings but no time to go check it out.  I might have to go to Bozeman this week to pick up my new Dalbello Krypton Cross ID boots and plan to go by Bridger Bowl on my way.  I'll take a picture if there's snow.

Yup! The whole office was so excited on Friday to see the mountains getting covered up again. Looked like they got plenty last week, but may have lost a bit over the weekend. Sadly, I also had no time to get in on any of it this weekend. :(  Will be stuck indoors all week doing tax work. Blech. I'll be headed to Missoula this upcoming weekend, though. I'll take some pics along the way if there's anything postworthy.
