The balance these guys have is amazing.  But to me their ability to fine-tune exactly how far they go when they jump is equally mind-blowing.  I'm wondering -- does the motorbike have a customized throttle for finer control?

I don't know much about the moto. I wonder how much of the hopping uses teh throttle and how much is the rider. I don't really get what is happening when he is able to seemingly spring up from a standstill. It's pretty amazing.

The thing I find really amazing on the bike is how they can balanced position on the front wheel after they lunge up onto obstacles.

I've seen rounds of the US Natl guys which is some really great stuff. BUT until you see the "World" guys compete you don't understand just what can be done in contemporary trials! eek.gif

I've got an old Fantic 240 Pro from the mid 80's and let me tell you, things have changed!!!
