Being a little bit visually impaired, I miss the ability to make the text bigger which was possible until recently.
Can't make text bigger anymore
Press CTRL+PLUS (the += key) to make the text bigger, CTRL+MINUS, to make it smaller, CTRL+0 (zero) to go to default size.
Works in Firefox and (most?) other browsers.
Also, you can usually force a minimum font size. In Firefox:
Options: Content: Fonts: Advanced: Minimum Font Size.
FWIW, that doesn't work for me in Chrome on OSX. On most websites, command+plus will do exactly what you described, the text gets bigger. On epicski, it just increases all the whitespace around the text. The text doesn't change at all.
Yes, that happens to me, too. Can't change the font, either -- it makes it bigger on other sites, but not this one.
That does the same thing as command+plus, and doesn't work on this website in either Chrome or Safari (OS X). It does work in Firefox (OS X).
I assume this is a bug that will be repaired. I hope it will be repaired VERY soon!
From Andy at Huddler:
There will be a minor update to the platform today to keep our Facebook Connect implementation up to date with some API changes coming down from Facebook.
We're also taking the opportunity to sneak out a fix for problems folks are having with zooming the page in the Chrome browser.
I do hope Huddler is aware that the problem exists beyond just the Chrome browser. I have just tried Safari again, and the font-size problem is still there too. Interestingly, IE seems to work better now. I don't have a current version of Firefox, so I haven't checked that.
(Nolo--it was not about using different font sizes when composing a post, which was not a problem as far as I know. It was a problem with the type size on the page remaining fixed, even as you zoomed in and out and resized all of the other things on the screen. Moot point now, since it appears to have been fixed.)
