I'm just wondering because I have been looking at pictures of some back diamond/double black diamond runs which look REALLY steep. As a beginner it seems impossible that anyone could ever confidently ski them without being on the verge of wiping out. I have only been on a green run before, so the idea of such steep angles seems crazy to me.
I also see videos of people skiing where they are just FLYING down the mountain, and I'm just like "wow! they must know they aren't going to fall, because a wipeout at that speed would hurt!"
As some of you may know from my other posts I am just going to be starting this year (already have my pass and season rental) so feats that may be considered normal for advanced skiers just provoke a jaw dropping response from me.
Edit: Misspelled skiers... can't fix the title...
