Anybody skied the bones with barons or dukes? I'm adding bones to the quiver this year, and they'll be a resort all-mountain ski for me for the most part. Not sure if I'd ever tour with them, but might want the option, unless people say the stack height of the baron has a negative effect on how the ski skis.

To basic question, no and doubt you'll find anyone who has and actually likes to tour. IMO, probably a nice ski to hike with, but not a great solution for actual touring, in that they're OK light but not superlight (think 4000 gm for 180 cm), fairly stiff and not particularly wide if there's enough near-resort snow to want to skin, and the dual rocker without a square tail will make skins a PITA and steep traverses in no fall zones interesting. OTOH, no, stack height won't be a big deal since they're already designed to carve when needed, it'll just enhance that. And if you have a pair of Barons crying out for use, sure why not? Everyone else and their brother already uses Dukes/Barons at resorts and never takes them out of alpine mode.
