so many links to various preseason ski fitness programs out there: what is the 'best' in your op?
..trying to also lose 20-30 lb by jan 1st.
trying to get my butt in gear now, 2-3 mo in advance, also do weights/aerobics in between ski work out days
ie mon bodyworkout/aerobic
tues ski workout/easy aerobic (ie 60-90 min walk)
thurs (ski workout/aerobic)
sat (ski workout/aerobic)
sunday off (or cycling/walking/yoga)
also trying to incorporate yoga workouts 3x per wk too which i find even more important as i approach 50 next yr
...trying to get out 50x this yr skiing again.
lastly in a few wks i'll be going to see a motion analysis doc to better assess my limitations in skiing motion per hips, stance etc...getting dalbello custom liners and getting stance analysis too (from Fanatiko at whistler) as i find i like my boots really snug/fitting like a glove.
