Most folks I know are still using Dukes or have made the switch to Dynafit...
With dukes and barons having a 4 year head start and 4 years of them out there, understandable that you are seeing more out there. There are a few members here who are running Guardians including JayT and from my understanding, he is happy with them. I will say we have also have seen more questions about dynafit type bindings than these than their Marker and Tyrolia counter parts

I worry about the toe piece losing strength with torque on serious climbs over time. Is it a solid set up?
Any word?

Wait, are these really lighter than Dukes? I thought heavier.

For those of us that mix it up (1/2 lift served, 1/2 touring) with one rig, tech bindings really don't work all that well.  I've known a lot of people that have had a ton of problems with Dynafits inbounds.  A few of them are looking to go back to Marker Tours or Barons.  I hang out with lighter, older folk, so we don't have to measure our prowess by our max DIN.  This year, I'm going to be on Tour F12s.  If they're good enough for Thin Cover, they're good enough for me.

^fwiw, I had a pair of the first gen Dukes up until last summer. never had any issues with them other than the stack height.

most of the folks i know on Dynafits ain't usin' 'em in the resorts at all.

i'd still like to hear some feedback on the Sollys from somebody who actually used them to tour frequently (i.e. not just side-country, but, at the very least, a 3-6 mile tour consisting of straightaways and uphill).
