This is an easy one.  Love the Bern!

I have been a fan of Smith Vantage and Variants, good ventilation and they are light.

Giro Seam all the way.

Seam is another great, light helmet.

I have three:  A Scott Variant, a Bern "G," and a R.E.D. Tantrum.  Frankly, I like them all.  The Variant has the advantage of the Skullcandy earpads, the Bern is great in the spring (super light and with an uninsulated insert), and the Tantrum is my storm helmet (because although it's called R.E.D., it's neon highlighter green).  All three are comfy and get the job done.

Helmets are for pussies...

Actually, they're for heads. I think you're doing it wrong.

Unless your putting a helmet on the helmettongue.gif

The blue one! Definitely the blue one.

the one that fits correctly....   I buy smith products as they stand behind them. Any problems with their goggles or helmets and they take care of them quickly without a hassle. AND they are great products.

Another vote for the Vantage. I'm kind of a gear whore, and was debating a new helmet. But my Vantage is just starting to get some character, and I love it to much.

Whatever best fits for your noggin.

That said, I highly recommend the Salomon Custom Air Ranger.  Extremely lightweight, and definitely a lower profile than the Smith Vantage when I tried them both on in the shop.  Air bladder may sound gimmicky but it really works well.

Recovering East Coast Leedom user needs helmet.   Must fit 61cm.     20% beer league, 20% trees, 15% trips west .    G10 fits but sloppy and short in back.   Carerra, Uvex do not fit.
