I live near Steamboat but most of the shops are still closed until Late OCT, early NOV.

What city other than Denver(Don't want to go there) has the best shops opened year round.

I thought maybe Breckenridge

Silverthorn?  Dillon?

I haven't been there when all the resorts are closed, but I'm guessing that some of them are getting ready for the ski season.

Aspen.   Park downtown and you can walk to ten shops within 10 minutes.

I don't think I'm rich enough to be allowed in the city of Aspenbiggrin.gif

I've actually gotten better deals on equipment there than almost any where else, except maybe the net.  The rents are so high, shops seldom close.  The just sell something else in the off seasons, bikes, fishing gear or tennis rackets.  The key is to buy at the end of that season, just before they switch over.

If you need a new bike right now, you'd be golden.
