Very well done Bud, Jim(s), Greg and crew icon14.gif

Pretty amazing to know and have that bunch around us all.  Our skiing is made more enjoyable and certainly performance minded.

Something seems broken on skinet's site; I can't click through to any of the others.

sorry!

and actually, it's more than 6, Bill Haight and Benny Wax post here too.

the gathering could be a great opportunity for people who don't have a bootfitter near where they usually ski. another world class guy is Gunar Wolf at Granite Chief. Tahoe is strong in this area, long history of racing here. If I were interested in improving my gear and stymied at home, I'd make plans in advance to buy or fit boots/footbeds when here. Congrats to Start Haus, a place that never lets you down, well-earned kudos.

Congrats all the boot experts who made that list.  I read the article this weekend (yes, I get the printed on paper version).  NIce to know that some deserving folks get some recognition.

All skinet's gallery links are broken for me.

Congratulations to all the EpicSki Bootfitters!  It's so great to have you all here on this forum!

It's not really the "Top 15 Bootfitters", or even the top bootfitters in North America.  It's the top 15 bootfitters in the U.S.A., only.

Noticeably absent are the top Canadian bootfitters, who would easily be at the top of the list, such as regular Epic contributor Lou Rosenfeld.

In all of North America, the best that can come of lists is that people should look past glitz and corporate promotion, and find the small businesses that offer the best in service, take responsibility for their work, and come from the grass roots of skiing.

I have no idea what you are suggesting. The folk on the list that I know are all small independant businesses.  Of course, you can find competent people at large corporately owned businesses, as well as incompetent people at small privately owned businesses as well.

Congratulations to all the shops chosen, and special kudos to the Starthaus crew.

Bud did the majority of the work on my last pair of boots.  Lou tuned them up.  Jim Lindsey just fitted me with a pair of new boots.  Guess I was lucky to have three folk help me out!

I think one of the guys from Bootdoctors in Taos posts here also.  I plan to head up there this season for new boots.  Glad to see they made the list.
