Ski Logik Howitzer mount

Anybody out there who can offer  some advice on binding mount position for these ? I picked up at the end of last season along with some Axial 2's but haven't done any drilling yet.

These will be my "deep snow day" boards at Whistler - not daily drivers . Stick with the factory mark ? Ball of foot / centre of ski ?

Not a lot of them on the hills here so any input would be appreciated.

I mounted mine on the factory line and love them in any soft snow conditions.

What allan o'neil said above plus...the manufacturer suggests using glue when mounting (Gorilla Glue, etc.).  Also, the bases are fast, hard and thirsty.  Give them several coats of wax before it snows.

As I recall, driving screws into whatever "hardwood" SkiLogik uses for their cores what quite the chore. So if you are mounting them yourself...be sure to be prepared with the proper weapon.

Skeezer...enjoy the skis! They are light, fun, easy to ski in almost any condition except slick ice. Shockingly fun in big, soft bumps. Sometime's I just wish they would get more love and attention around here.

Many thanks for the advice and the thumbs up on the skis - it was a bit of a leap of faith .

I'm nowhere near brave enough to get close to them with a power tool though - will leave it to the pros.

Brings tears to my eyes to even think about defiling that gorgeous top sheet .....

If you have a chance, report back after you ski on them. very curious to hear what you think.

Mine are mounted at the factory rec. point as well, and they're loads of fun all over the mountain!
