09-10 Scott Punisher - 191cm - No Bindings - SOLD!

I am the original owner.  I skied exactly 7 days on these in 09-10 (6 in Utah, 1 at Killington), and only 6 days in 10-11 (all at Jackson Hole).  I did have the bottoms and edges ground prior to 10-11 season because I found some rock at Snowbird.  No edge damage, just some dull spots.  The bottoms of these skis are virtually indestructable.  Lots of wax in the bases.

These are full twin tip, early rise tips and ski quite a bit shorter than the 191 length.  They also have an innovative sidecut that leads to a 16M turn radius, but they can carve long GS tunrs as well.  I scored a Silver time in NASTAR on these at JH.

Vitals are 130-90-116 and both the tip and tail are tapered similar to Rossi S7 or Armada JJ although much narrower.  Also have full vertical sidewalls.  Don't think they have any metal in them.  Drilled only once on the line for Look Pivots and a 321mm BSL.

The graphics are...well, they are what they are.  There is a Tyrannosaurus Rex riding a motorcycle, a skeleton, and a dude that looks like the guy in the painting The Scream.  Also some clear bits that show the wood layup which I think is the coolest part.  Pics posted soon.

I got 'em cheap and looking to do the same for someone else.$125 + shipping.

Almost 4 days and no interest?  Is it the graphics?  I'll paint 'em flat black if anybody wants them that way.

Seriously, these are great skis for a steal.  They just don't work that well for me and where/how I ski.  Looking to pass on a great deal.

Graphics maybe, but I am sure it's not youth_dunno-1[1].gif

I'd ski them....   I've even got some bindings lying around.  No cash handy for skis at the momentth_dunno-1[1].gif  Mama wants a new kitchen table for Thanksgiving.  And if Mama ain't happy daddy doesn't get to ski on anything Thanksgiving Saturdayfrown.gif

I'm a poor dad paying for 3 kids in college.  Price is a steal as listed and you cover the shipping.

what is the length of the ski that would have contact with the snow? because i think i am right in saying punishers have a fairly large lip on them so not all 191cm are in contact with the snow...

I'm not sure what a "lip" is but I described them as full twin tip with early rise tips that ski much shorter than 191.  I don't know what you want me to measure or what method you want me to use.  Please clarify...

well i', not too sure either. i am a racer and just looking for some all mountain skis that i won't cry about scratching. i've tried out the newest punishers and when they gave them to me they were a few inches above my head but skied like my race ski's. i am 5.8 and a good skier so i guess i was just wondering whether in your experience of them these would be too long for me or not.. sorry to be useless at this i've never really looked into anything other than race ski's. thanks :)

Just an update - got these skis from bjohansson - excellent transaction, you can buy from him with no worries.  These were packed better than anything I've seen, practically indestructable, took me 10 full minutes with a hobby knife to unwrap and peel off all the bubblewrap layers.  Skis were exactly as advertised and were a great value.

And Squirreljam was an excellent buyer...effortless transaction.  Glad you like 'em.
