Sophisticated, stylish ski outerwear

Thread Starter

Hello everyone!

I am an avid skier in my early 50's and have been skiing for years in the Vancouver/Whistler area.  I am looking for a new ski outfit that is sophisticated and modern (I'm not into baggy or bright colours).  Does anyone have any suggestions for stores to check out for age appropriate, stylish garments?  I travel quite a bit for skiing and am planning on going to a ski area destination around christmastime so I am open to international stores as well.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi Boomerbabe.  You have come to the right place!

I am a "self proclaimed jacket slut"  and I love to see what's next in ski clothing.

IMHO some of the nicest looking clothing is from europe for sleek lines, like Norrona, Nils, Sportswear of Sweden.

In the past few years, many of the companies on this continent have taken notice that we want to look good(not baggy) and still have technical features.

Patagonia, Marmot, DNA........lots to choose from!

I really love this combination from SOS

Some of the great things from Patagonia are like this....
