the new Blizzard Bonafide vs. '11 Prophet 100 or new Prophet 98- what to choose as a one-quiver ski?
Was originally looking to purchase either the prophet 100 or 98 for an all mountain, one quiver ski but after reading the new gear guides and Alexzn's post on the bonafide, im torn.
Im an advanced-expert skier on the east coast and need a ski that can handle all the terrain. I tend to stick to the trees, bumps and "east-coast powder" when its available but when it comes to groomers I like to get into racing mode on them. From Alexzn's post, it seems that the Bones can really handle it all. So pros, help out? I want something that can respond and not break my ankles in the bumps and trees but also not bounce me around or chatter on the groomers when im trying to bank a turn at 5 g's.
The prophet's rep seems to be that of a very versatile ski that can really go anywhere but im very intrigued about blizzard's new construction. the only concern is that the bone needs a forward driver to go hard, where as i like to sit back. obviously not a deal breaker but since i can only afford one pair of skis, i want it to be the best one for me. thanks in advance!
