Hello Barking Bears. Some of you may know me as Canyons. Obviously, this post is being made by my business persona Wasatch Powder Skis.
Who has skied Plum bindings?
Who owns a pair?
I think that this is a really special product for backcountry enthusiasts. Bomber (made from high-grade aluminum), and beefy (Guides DIN range is 5.5-12). Only about 650g per pair. Think of them as Dynafit on steroids.
You can find a great review of these clamps here: http://blistergearreview.com/category/gear-reviews/ski-reviews/at-binding-reviews
I urge everyone to read this review, and frequent www.bistergearreview.com It gets no better.
Anyway WPS is an authorized dealer of Plum. Recently, with the permission of Plum, WPS put together a very successful group buy of Plum Guide bindings for the fine folks at tgr. If there are enough interested people here, we will do the same thing for you. The price is set by Plum, not WPS. You will save some good money, and get the gold standard in AT bindings. If you are interested, post here, or send me a PM. If we get 2 doz. or so people, then we will put together a Barking Bear goroup buy.
Just so everyone knows, I will post stoke and personal opinions under the name Canyons, and business incentives and issues under Wasatch Powder Skis.
