Did my usual monthly summer ski tour - to Italy (now full length)

Sun is lower in the sky now, snow was hard crystals or refrozen glacial

BUT this time I had a working head cam!

Full video, teaser is embedded

Sweet. I could hear that scraping sound even with my speakers turned off! Hope your edges were nice and sharp.

Oh, and at the start of the video it looked like the sides fell off at about a 70 degree angle. What was the actual?

Ohhhhh, YEAH!

I love the way you leave us hanging (almost literally) on the edge of that crevasse.

Well played.

Can't wait for the rest.

Nah, scraping 'cause they haven't been sharpened, then again it was pretty boilerplate out.

Yup (maybe slightly increased by the camera's lens), Right side is the Poublle Couloir (See blizzard of Ahhs). Left side is the north face of the Midi - Mallory and Eugster (think Seth skis one of these in Ordinary Skier)

That's the famous "arrete" on Augille DuMidi?  Wow, I pictured it far less scary...  Great video, fantastic mountains.
