Anyone have any Blizzard "The One" or Rossi S3 for sale?

Also any recommendation on which is better would be great.

TIA.

I ski Gotamas 2007 mostly, but want a little more quickness and action, but want to float.  Really looking for a one ski quiver.  I like powder, and look for it all day, but sometimes it is in tight trees.  All skis need to handle groomed because you have to get back to the lift and sometimes that happens at mid-run.

Any thoughts?

I do not ski ice days.

I have brand new Blizzard Ones for sale in a 177...still in the wrapper...PM me if you are interested...bought them new from Start Haus in March, selling them cheap...

The terrain you described is exactly what the Rossi S3 excels at. It is the single quiver ski for many of my friends who live in the mountains. They are too much fun in any soft snow, and they will carve trenches if you get them up on edge. I don't know about the Blizzard Ones, haven't skied them. Sorry, my S3's are not for sale.

At your weight, the minimum length for a soft-snow ski is 180-190 cm, especially with early tip/tail rise.  Either ski would work well. S3 a bit more nimble.

I disagree the S3 is more nimble, its a bit softer but I don't think more nimble. I owned the One and skied the S3 ( and just bought one ). His 190 size really makes me think neither ski is perfect but the 184 The One would be better. the 186 S3 has the same, if not less running length as the 178...

I think we agree.  Similar skis.  Both would work well. The twin tip of the S3 makes it ski shorter than the listed length so, yes, it will feel similar to a traditional 178 ski.  Best to demo both.  If that's not possible, he could probably choose the best deal available and be happy.  Either will be friskier than his Gotamas!

Thanks everyone.

I do like a little shorter ski, I am on the 183 Gots and would not dream of going bigger, not sure why but I like to turn a lot and find edges when going at speed.  Seems to work.

I've got brand new 2010 - 2011 Rossi S3 in 186 that I'm selling - hasn't been mounted with bindings yet.

I've demoed Blizzard The One's and Rossi S3's and personally, liked the S3's much better. I felt they were more nimble and much 'easier' to ski in any condition. A whole lotta fun !

After demoing the S3's I liked them so much, I purchased them in 186, than decided later that I wanted the S3's in 174 - so , I've got 2 pairs of S3's.  I;me keeping the 174's and selling the 186's.

PM me if you're interested and make me an offer.  I can ship them anywhere in the USA.  If you live in the Seattle area, you can pick them up.
