Solomn X Wave 9 Ski Boots

Last season my Salomon X Wave 9 boot liner seemed to have something sticky inside, almost like the liner sprung a leak.  It feels like pine tar but it is not.  Can the liner spring a leak?  How can I replace the liner only?

no idea on the sticky, but intuition liners makes a great aftermarket upgrade.  $200ish, lighter, warmer, and better fit

 Scotty,

IMHO the "sticky" is the liner material breaking down from age, it's made of plastic which degrades over time.  If the shells are still viable, go for the intuition liners and smile.

I called Intuition and they are helping me with new liners.  They are not sure which liner they offer that will be closest to the one in my current boot but they are helping me select a model that is comfortable all day and still has all mountain expert support.  Thanks for the tip!!

Your new liners will probably need to be molded.  Could I recommend that instead of buying from Intuition directly you find a shop instead that sells Intuition and can do the molding?
