The other day I was at PT and this was the conversation.  I've been going to the same PT for over three years off and on; left acl, right rtc and now right acl.  Needless to say, she knows me well.

There was a woman about my age (over 50) but a bit heavy, recovering from some sort of knee surgery but still in the early stages of recovery.  She watched me go from the bike, to run on the treadmill, to hopping side to side on one leg and then standing on one leg on the bosu ball and hopping with landing on the bosu and repeat.  She turned to the PT and frantically asked - "Am I going to have to do that too?"  The PT looked towards her and replied "Only if you want to ski race and pretend your only 20 also."  The woman then said "Oh thank God!  I don't think I could have done that when I was 20! biggrin.gif
