Need new ski for coaching/teaching/fun: Rossi 9S Oversize is gone?

Hi folks! An open Q to some on the forums, especially the reviewers - all input welcome (props out to Wilcat, DawgCatching + TrekChick for all their consistent posts over the years).

I've always been a big fan of the Rossi de-tuned slalom ski 9S OVersize. It tends to get to soft for me after a season (6'1" 198) but skis unconscious for the first season. I can just step onto the Dyna/Rossi sweet spot and go (must be on my butt a bit :-)  ). This is my fun ski and I coach a little house league or teach the friends' kids on it.

The straight WC race ski always just a bit extra pony for the early season and the detuned titanium ski usually what we call in Canada a "Go-er"...

I hear old faithful is getting pulled this year? My local shop is Blizzard (I posted an ask on these previous) so interested in like models. I have kids now, so most of my skiing has transitioned from Masters race and training to lots of turns on the local 300' hill -- and as an FYI, some of the most joyful, fun I've had skiing since I was a little kid.

Are rumours of the 9S Oversizes demise premature?

Anyone suggest a similar ski (my (S is 165cm. I've heard suggestions that shorter is more zippy, but can increase the chance of knee injury... ?)

Thanks guys! BRING ON THE SNOW, baby!

European Rossi catalogue has:

RADICAL 9SL SLANT NOSE TI

Reference RA1BA01
Size Available 155 - 160 - 165 - 170 - 175
Structure MINICAP SANDWICH
Core FIBRO/METAL WOOD
Reinforcement TITANAL
Camber height HIGH
Camber length *100%*
Rocker length *0%*
Tip SLANT NOSE
Sidecut 124-70-112
Profile sidecut OVERSIZE

Tip protector INOX - BI MATERIAL

Just checked that its in the US/Canadian catalogues too. A couple of years ago the 9S Oversize was re-badged CS70 for North America without the WC graphics (and 9X Oversize = CX80), but it looks like Rossi have backpedaled on that .

Yes, the measurements on the sidecut are the same. Anyone know if it's the same ski?

Any thoughts on other potentials?

Thinking of trying Head and Blizzard...
