Sugarbush "Interactive" Google Earth Trail Map

Hey guys,

I wanna post something I have been working on over the past few weeks.  It's the first fully-equipped Google Earth trail map of all the ones that I have started (view them all at https://sites.google.com/site/wdvids/).  I chose Sugarbush due to the great availabilty of historical trail maps and information (thanks sugarbushhistory.com!), the great variety of awesoem pictures (especially from BushMogulMaster, ShadyJay, and thetrailboss, among others).... not to mention that it's my favorite place to ski!

You can download the file from the "Sugarbush" section of my site, at https://sites.google.com/site/wdvids/home/trail-maps/sugarbush.  Of course you will need to have Google Earth (http://www.google.com/earth/index.html) installed on your computer to use the map.  This is what it looks like...

Comments and suggestions are strongly encouraged!!... and I think next will be Killington, but I'm sure it will be quite the project.

I haven't gone to look yet, but I like the idea.  I have overlaid some of my own GPS daily tracks onto Google Earth and liked the results.  I am eager to see how a concerted effort looks.

Well this is more of an informational endeavor as you have said.  I will hopefully fill this map with my own photos and videos at some point... ahev have some kind of map of each ski area I have visited.  For now, photos are referenced from the internet, and I tried to maintain a high level of quality without the lag of huge pictures.  This will work best with a fast internet connection, but pretty much all things in Google Earth have that requirement.

Download and enjoy!!
