Ton of golf courses down at Myrtle Beach. Google Myrtle Beach Golf Forum, and that should connect you with Brian Noblin who arranges golf packages for visitors. I'm heading down this Thursday - Monday. My brother in law has a home at Barefoot Resort and the courses there are very good Love, Fazio, Norman but unfortunately expensive. I typically play the lower tier courses along Bus 17 Highway, and have a blast and pay $35- $45 a round or less this time of year. I' talking about Azeala Sands, Beachwood, Possum Trot . The greens on thse courses are compromised , but I can't putt anyway!
Some very good price -value courses located in Northern Myrtle Beach and right over the state line in NC incluse Farmstead, River Hills, Crow's Creek, Meadowlink, Brunswick Plantation. Lot's of great courses , I also like in the sourtern end of Myrtle over the intercoastal, The Witch, The Pearl, Arrowhead. I have not played the high end courses Avocet, True Blue, Caledonia, TPC. The Legend up Rt. 501 has very nice links style courses and good deals on muti plays.
Hard to go to wrong and beach golf is great. All level lies vs. the hilly courses I play here in W Pa.! Have a ball.
