5.9 on the Rictor scale and the only casualty was felled by a K2 Rictor!

Those indeed are the new Amphibios from Elan.  Suburban carries the Amphibio 12, the Amphibio 14, Amphibio Insomnia, and the Amphibio 82XTi

Dang it - I was pretty much decided on a pair of the Head Supershape skis to try to work on the High C, but these look pretty tempting too.
