2009 Rossignol 9X World Cup 183cm >23M Skis -- Masters race ski

Hi -

Set these skis up for Masters racing a couple seasons ago and then crashed on my cheater GS ski. They have been sitting in the shop after I had them set up for Masters races on the short courses in Ontario. The I-Bar in the binding has been removed to give them some more flex needed for the Masters course. Faster than a big shape cheater ski, but flex enough to keep your line.

Ski, Binding, Plate all new except for one half run at Tremblant. Tuned immediately after. edges set to 3* and 1*. This is a new ski.

Too many injuries herald my retirement (or sabbatical) and wife pleased to divorce me should I take these out of the barnski.gif...

Make me a serious offer plus shipping if you're interested.

Can post pics also (lazy, sad seller am I...)

Bump. As the snow approaches , anyone interested in these skis before I put 'em in the ski show ski swap? $500?

put them in the swap. they arent worth anywhere near that.  if you posted this on tgr, you would be getting flamed out of the yohoo. I sold a pair of these for $100... just saying -- ya they'd been mounted twice.

Bet you your this year's skis I could sell them for that - LOL!

Swap it is - never know if someone is looking for a specific ski. And TGR is for cranky-pants need to be seens who've lst the meaning ;-) haha!

ya the problem is they are 2009 skis and not 2012 skis. People who generally are on racestock gs skis want the most modern equipment. The market is small for this type of ski whereas a sl ski has a much larger market or even a cheater gs ski.

I saw a pair of 191  atomic gs racestock with 1018s that were brand new 2009 that were for sale at $150 and didnt sell. This was at a swap in minnesota though.

You've got a serious point there , for sure. So - would you keep them for the bindings?

Not totally correct.  Most of those who need  to be on 2012 skis tend to be on the 190+   >27m ski and shoal is correct in that these beasts tend to lose value PDQ since not too many can ski them.  However this is the >23m womens stock ski in a manageable length, which is a much more useable ski (in fact better in most respects than a "cheater" IMHO).   Much more useful for Masters, lighter skiers etc that do not need to meet USSA/FIS requiremnts.  I supspect main issue here is the price which is unrealistic at $600.  These seem to be making  ~ $300 on Fleabay.  Probably worth more with binders than splitting.  Just my thoughts....

Thanks ScotsSkier - I'm thinking of just sitting on them for now. Lazy, I suppose - I'd pbby take $300 for them, if no stress lol! Cheers and thanks!
