Alignment Question, Canting

Hi all

Situation is:

I have one pair of skis and two pairs of boots. K2 Backlash and tecnica magnesium/ dynafit zzero4 respectively. Conformables in both.

to compensate for ower leg angle / bow leggedness, dioablo shafts are tilted all the way outside (canting screws) . works fine with no issues. Almost flat on snow that way.

Now the Problem. In the Zzeros, i feel like am slightliy on the outside edge of the boot when walking, and consequently on the outside edge of the ski. Skiing is still okay with some inside edge latency, but I could live with that if need be. Thing is during the last AT trip with 4000-5000ft vert, 5 days in a row on hard snow, the tibia/femur joint region on the uphill leg in teh ascent started to hurt. could this be ralated to the "outside pressure" issue described above?

The Zzeros have no shaft tilt ("canting").What else could i do? Shim the liner at the inside? Shims under the bindings? I'd need a second pairt of skis for the latter, as I'd prefer to leave the alpine boot/backlash combo untouched.

Thank you so much in advance for your input!

you can shim the binding and try that  (longer screws and a spacer) ?

or drill out the side cuff screws on the boot,  align it the way you want it, and get it Tnutted back in place.

www.tognar.com search for cant shims and you will find them, best to have an assessment carried out first to be sure you are getting the right angle and putting it in the right place
