Looking to swap/exchange for a luxury beach place during Christmas or possibly another period. A few bears have stayed with us and can attest that it is a nice place.
We have a luxury 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths Townhouse on 4 levels in the heart of Colorado ski country. It was built in 2008 and is 2900 square feet living space with 2 balconies. Located next to the bike path with cross country skiing steps away in winter and the shops and restaurants of Main Street Frisco an easy 5 minute walk away. Check out google maps and Street View to get a better idea of how central, yet tranquil our location is. It is with good reason that Summit County is call "Colorado's Playground" as many of our neighbors live 1-1.5 hours away in the Denver area and use Frisco as their ski home in the winter and escape from the heat in summer (we average in the 70s while Denver is probably closer to 90 in the summer).
Entry Level- attached 2 car garage, office, mud room, laundry room, foyer and covered entry. 1/2 bath. Wood and stone flooring.
"Main" Level- open living room with gas fireplace, dining area and kitchen with modern appliances and top of the line cookware like Le Creuset. En-suite queen bedroom with shower, dual sinks and walk-in closet.
Top Level- En-suite king bedroom with, shower, separate bath tub, dual sinks & walk-in closet.
Lower Level- King bedroom, Large bunk bedroom (full over queen), large den/TV/game room, Full bathroom.
The Perfect Summit Colorado Mountain Getaway
Clean, Comfortable New Luxury Town-home Completed in 2008
5 Blocks from Main Street in Frisco, CO and the free Summit Stage Bus directly to multiple ski areas. Lake Dillon and the Frisco Marina is less than a 10 minute walk.
Smoke-free, no pets.
We moved to Frisco to take advantage of the variety of nearby ski areas. Frisco's central location allows serious skiers to wake up in the morning, read the morning snow report and pick the area with the best conditions. For those not interested in downhill skiing everyday, there is the Frisco Nordic Center and Adventure Park within a mile of us and cross-country/snow shoeing trials right behind us (as well as shopping on Main St and the Silverthorne Outlet stores).
I skied about 90 days last season at the following areas:
Copper Mountain- 6 miles/10 minute drive (south-)west on Interstate 70. There is free bus service/parking 5 blocks from us which is a very convenient option.
The Vail Resorts- 5 Resorts all included on the same lift ticket (and affordable season pass Adult: $499 Teen: $379 Child: $249) are also close:
Breckenridge 10 miles/15 minutes south on Hwy 9
Keystone 10 miles/15 minutes east on Hwy 6
A-Basin 16 miles/20 minutes east on Hwy 6
There is also free bus service/parking 5 blocks from us to all 3.
Also on the same lift ticket are Vail (26 miles/30 minutes west on I-70) and Beaver Creek (36 miles/45 minutes west on I-70).
On a separate lift ticket is Loveland Ski area 16 miles/20 minutes east on I-70. Transferable 4 packs at Loveland are available in October & November for $119.
