Spending $500 on a jacket - Page 4

Never mind what happened on the chat.  How much did you lose at the Casino?

Just $100.

I played craps for about an hour and was up $300. They closed the table and I went to the Roulette table and lost everything (including the $100 that I started out with) in 3 spins.

The dealer had rolled about 8 reds in a row. So I bet $100 on black, lost. Then $200 on black, lost. Finally my last $100 on black. Lost.

Could've been much worse.

I will say, it's true about the Ambien - I don't know from personal experience, but a few friends have told me that If I ever take it, it's important that you actually put yourself in a situation to go to sleep.  Otherwise you can go on for hours of total blackout while still "awake."  Heard a story about one guy who put like 10k in merchandise on his credit card shopping online and had no recollection of it whatsoever.  He had no idea until this UPS truck pulls up at his house a few days later with like 20 boxes of random stuff, including a new vacuum cleaner.

Trial begins in North Carolina nursing home killings

His doctors had prescribed Ambien, which the defendant took in doses that far exceeded his doctor's recommendation. A doctor prescribed antidepressants that are known to have serious side effects. When he talked to his doctor about his depression, he admitted he was concerned that he would hurt himself or someone else.

All of this, defense counsel said, made this man a "lethal sleepwalker." He didn't understand what he was doing, and he would not remember any of it.

I've played the Ambien games a few times.  I usually just go to the pool and act like a 10 year old.  Great stuff if you want a solid night's sleep or a few hours of fun.

Was it something like this?

Here's what you do, first, get a better rap and stop trying so hard. Second, buy some good gear that will make you smile from ear to ear, and standing tall all day when you're out there. You will have them crawling all over you after that, real girls, not some miserable f@#% who can't get passed what someone is wearing. You might find someone cool enough to hook up with the entire trip.

Sorry I didn't see this thread sooner--hope it's not too late. It's obvious that what you need is one of those red jackets with the big white cross on the back. And carry a shovel on your pack even if it hasn't snowed in a month.
