Morzine or Val Thorens

Thread Starter

Just looking for some advice.

Going skiing in March 10th-17th maybe the week before for our first lads ski trip, there is 11 of us.

I just am torn between Morzine or Val Thorens as there are positives and negatives for both, mainly the different in price for transfer from Geneva Airport.

Please help? thanks

Morzine, tree lined slopes, bars, PdS and a genuine year round life outside of skiing.

Val Thorens is a pig ugly ski factory plonked in a lunar landscape at the butt end of the 3 valleys. Replica Watches Swiss Replica Watches Replica Watch Rolex Replica Watches

We stayed "down valley" one year in March and it was so warm we had to treck it up to Val T everyday to find any decent snow. It also happened to snow up there everyday while we were skiing. On day 3 we all wished we were just staying in up in Val T. and going to a different village some nights for some "culture".

You could also stay in Les Menuire or St Martin de Belleville for easy access to Val but not quite as "pig ugly".
