Did you not hear about ESA? We folded our tent due to economic challenges we could not surmount, though we hung on as long as we could, hoping conditions would improve. But as anyone keeping track of this economy knows, it's not improving as steadily as we'd hoped. We still plan to do something under the ESA umbrella, we're just not sure what at this time. We'd really love to have input from the community on what you'd like ESA to be in its next incarnation.

Since whatever ESA will become is not what it was, the website seemed to be more of an artifact than a live thing, so we backed it up and closed our account.

This ranked as one of the saddest threads I have read on EpicSki Announcement about EpicSki Academy,  Only to be surpassed by notices of the loss of people we love.

Tim, I had hoped to attend another ESA with you and your lovely wife.  When we come up with a new plan, I hope to get another chance to ski with both of you again.

No I had not heard! That is terrible news. Both Madeline and I are pretty bummed about this. I hope you guys are able to figure things out and come back as good as ever.

That's very sad :-(  My wife and I were looking forward to going this year for the first time.  Sigh....

We are sad too.  Perhaps you can come to the EpicSki Gathering at Tahoe and get a chance to ski with some of the people you may have met at ESA.

Hope to meet up with you.
