Binding Mounting Position- Bonafide

Any thoughts/ideas folks could contribute regarding the binding mounting position for the Bonafide? This is going to be my go to everyday ski but not my big dump deep pow day ski, so basically anything up to a foot or less I'll be on the Bonafides....but don't need schizo's or to be mounted futher back for deep pow. Thanks in advance for the info.

Good question staggerlee.  I'm curious to read the responses you get as i've been wondering the very same thing since the bonafide is starting to look like THE ski of the new decade. dave

I have mine mounted on "the line" and have not regretted it one bit.

I had a pair of 180s mounted at 0 and 187 mounted at Plus 2.

wish I would have tried 0 on the 180s but as it stands 187 mouned plus 2 is going to be my go to ski next year.

We really didn't have many people mess with the mounting points last year on the free mountain skis and you could of easily as they were all mounted with Jester/Griffon demos so moving them was no problem. Every Bonafide I sent out on people's feet was mounted right on the recommended mark. I feel like if you are between sizes that's where a little mounting point adjustment might help. Like if the 187 Bonafide might be a touch big then Mount them a little forward or if the 185 Cochise might be a touch small but the 193 is too long, try the 185 mounted a little back, like -1.5. Really I don't think you can go wrong with the recommended mounting point, I think the engineers got them right on the freemountain lineup.
