I'm not crazy about either logo being on the tip of the ski, but if I had to choose, I would go with the skilogic in the front just because it fits better. Seems like the toe piece of the binding is going to cover the logo in back of the tiger. Maybe they could place the EpicSki logo on the the tail of the ski.
Sib, we've done two other contests involving skis -- one with Kyle Pilote and the other with Sterling Skis -- both of which would qualify as boutique companies. We have not contacted any other companies about doing something similar -- we like it best when they contact us, because then we know they like the idea!
So, I'm a bit confused. When I look at all the skis on this page:http://www.skilogik.com/custom-designs/, it appears that the "colors" are all wood. But, the choice we were given APPEARED to be paint? Are these skis going to be dark-and-light wood or painted?
The topsheet is rendered in wood veneers (with Mother-of-Pearl eyes). The picture I showed you was not the finished product but a graphical representation.

The Epic Ski version of the Ullr's, when not on the slopes, will be used by the lucky owner as art work on a home or office wall. Ski Logik's skis are that beautiful. They ski well, too!
