Can I buy men ski boot for my 12 years old son?

Hi,

My 12 years old really like the ski boots he found but they are for men ski boots. Can you please let me know if junior can ski on the men ski boots? He is in the between intermediate and advance level with 80 pounds and ski boots size of 25.5. Thanks for your help.

That is the same size I wear, roughly a 7.5 to 8.5 street shoe.  I think anything but a very stiff genuine plug race boot would be fine for an 80 pound recreational skiiing 12 year old in mens boots.  But, junior boots are usually a lot less expensive.

Thanks for your information. I found a good price (almost the same with junior ski boots) and thought that men ski boots are more quality.  Is it required an adult ski binding for the men ski boot?

In that size I believe the footprint of the toe and heel are the same as an adult boot
