PNW Adventure: Update #5 - Mount Adams Solo

Skied a fun line on Mount Adams this weekend. I couldn't find anyone who wanted to slog up there and back with me, so I did it solo. Round trip it was a bit more than 20 miles and more than 8,000' vert because the road was closed well before the trailhead. It was still certainly worth the effort!

I couldn't get a good view of the line to take a picture, but I found this on Wikipedia. Obviously there was a lot more snow when I skied it.

Great job, Joel. That's an impressive amount of snow still up there.

Nice climb!  I climbed Mt. Adams once in August, years ago, and reached the summit in a blizzard.  I have always wondered what the view was like from up there.

Pretty awesome.

Saw you might be climbing Mt Hood today? Good luck!
