Can we get about 250 of us to chip in $10k a piece?  ;-)

I'm in.

I'll also volunteer to collect everyone's $10K and hold it in escrow - just send cash to:......................wink.gif

Never been to Powderhorn, how does it compare to say...Eldora for quality and extent of terrain?

I skied there several seasons ago. It's a small, Old School, funky family resort. The terrain was pretty cool, but as I mentioned, it's Old School (slow double lifts). It reminded me a lot of Donner Ski Ranch out here in Tahoe and Loveland in Colorado and Timberline in Oregon (although minus the humongous, historic lodge/hotel), in terms of the vibe. Basically there was not a lot of pretense floating around and it was mostly locals. Definitely the antithesis of most of bigger the Colorado resorts.

The day I was there the conditions were a bit firm, but just exploring on my own I saw the potential for a great powder day with no crowds and a decent amount of challenging terrain. They also seemed to have a solid junior race program in effect as there was a kiddie race going on that took up about 1/4 of the mountain.
