I had the opportunity to ski a run (just one, sadly) this season on next year's K2 Aftershock which were being demo'd to Italian ski shops etc. I was told by the K2 rep that they were about 10% different from the 2011 model, but have heard from a local shop that they are identical apart from the graphics. Does anyone have any further insight?
I have to add that I was very impressed with their grip and speed of turns on hard snow/ice on the steeps, but didn't have any chance to try them off-piste as their wasn't any at that stage.

). Yes, there is a slight change in construction for next year. Personally, I think the 2011 Aftershock is the best "all mountain" K2 to come out in 10+ years and if you can get on a pair of this years for a better price, just do it. I don't think there is enough to warrant waiting for the 12 model.
