I cannot work it out - I'm looking at STH's in a range of DIN's but that have normal, Driver and Oversize versions. Oversize's do not look like normal ones with wide brakes, so what gives?
well, post some pics and we'll tell you what you're seeing . Is Salomon making a wider binding to follow Marker's wide footprint concept? produced to go with wide skis (supposedly more stable interface between boot and ski)
Sorry, I'm talking about the range on the site today - http://www.salomon.com/us/segment/performance-binding.html
There are two types of Sth bindings...Driver (traditional single pivot toe) and Z (automatic Spheric type toe). IMHO the Driver toe is the better one to go with, because you can finely adjust the interface with the boot. If you really want to be secure get the Sth Steel, it is twice the binding at twice the price, a mere $539.00 for steel housed goodness.
