Could have something to do with (I left out it first character so it would show).  Have you checked you signature in your profile?

div style="background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 191); border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; height: auto; line-height: normal; text-align: left; width: auto; direction: ltr; z-index: 99995; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; ">

I don't have a signature, but tested this by putting "none" in.  Note that the yellow bar is in the body of the post, not the sig.

I checked the source of my posts and it is putting code in automatically that if I delete I can fet rid of the yellow bar.  Like this.

Here's the code it's putting in all my posts.  First character removed.

div style="background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 191); border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; height: auto; line-height: normal; text-align: left; width: auto; direction: ltr; z-index: 99995; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; ">

Seems to be a conflict with the Dictionary 0.2.2.0 extension which is off now.

Extension back on, using BBEditor setting.

So it's a conflict between that extension and the Rich Text Editor.

Too much time on my hands this morning.

I'm confused. Is this a bug I should report or something occurring locally?

Post padding at its finest.

hi nolo, well it's not a big problem, but they might be interested in knowing about it. the fact that it only happens in one of huddler's modes makes it both them and the Safari Extension, but it could be the fault of the Safari Extension.

I'd tell them, just so they have it in their knowledgebase, in case it comes up for others, or with other Extensions.

So a summary would be:

There is a conflict between the Safari Extension "Dictionary 0.2.2.0" and the Rich Text Editor in Huddler. When both are enabled Huddler automatically puts the below source code at the end of a post as it's created, which adds a yellow bar to the end of the post.

(The open "<" has been omitted below.)

div style="background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 191); border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; height: auto; line-height: normal; text-align: left; width: auto; direction: ltr; z-index: 99995; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; ">

Thanks so much for the great report, SMJ. I'll get right on it.
