It's not melon anymore; it's scrambled eggs.

HMMM, I had my smith vantage on when I got my concussion this year...... Does that mean I have a head softer than a mellon?

The helmet encased melon actually splite down the center.

Split = Concussion

Splatter = Breakfast buffet entre

This is mixed news for politicians. The Up: You'll get more web exposure. The Down: That crack will require more makeup than usual before interviews.

Did anyone else find it interesting that the melon was wearing goggles?

Maybe all the polls here on wearing a helmet are flawed.  It's really the goggles that protect our heads.  I'm sure it's the airbag seatbelt combo relationship. smile.gif

Proper usage of the goggle / helmet combo is paramount to ensure survival of the protected melon upon impact.

This melon is a gaper. Evident by the huge space between goggle top and helmet brim - a large swath of yellow.

It would probably survived the impact if the gap was eliminated. At the very least not look so gaper-ish on the way out.

The other things i found disturbing is that the melon had it's chin strap buckled but everyone knows melons don't have chins. What's a melon doing up on top of a 30' wall, would there have been a different outcome if there was a couple feet of fresh, were the melons related to each other?

The melon split down the middle on impact and the helmet just kept the two halves together. So after that you can never take off the helmet or your head will fall apart.

That's safe?
