seems like a fun powdercat/heli/snowmobile ski.... convex bases even with the cleat could be a handful err footfull....

there are only 2 pairs in the world stephendrake has about 20 days on them. id contact him and ask him what he think and expect some bias;)

When I skied with Marshal last week, he ways they are still playing with variations and flexes in S.A.

Stephan Drake and Peter Turner were working on the Alpha version 2.0  last month and a crew went to Alaska to test the latest version...lots of revisions to go...but they are pushing the traditonal design boundaries nicely.  I will bet the design has some "unexpected" behaviors in some conditions...all part of the fun of new design testing!
