The best of stowe a year end video and photos

the best stuff I filmed this year, plans next year is to get a real video camera so that I can start to mix it up more.

for how much I loved snowbird this year, stowe still has a different flavor of skiing that is more fun IMO.  after spending 3 season at the bird and 2 season at stowe. Stowe had more untracked snow this year than any year at snowbird. Not as deep, but more untracked lines. We had fresh snow nearly everyday for weeks in Janurary, and Feburary and when we didnt the sidecountry did.

So here it is hope you guys like it, by the way looks much in HD.

pictures to come soon

Really nice video, BW.  I especially like the little gully through the trees that starts at about 3:13.

Great stuff.

Awesome!  Makes me think I need to make it up to Stowe next season (spent most of this year at the bush and mad river).  I hope they appreciate what a great ambassador for the resort you are.

Sweet edit, thanks. You always seem to match the right music. Good season.

+1 for me,great stuff Josh all season and very inspiring. Last couple of times out I actually picked a couple of lines I wouldn't have taken on before. Work in progress but nonetheless more aggressive. Thanks also for getting back to me with info on new skis. I will let you know how much I like the Bushwackers when ski season rolls around again.Cheers, enjoy the Summer,   Dave

Great Josh, 3:45 looks familiar, but is it?

honestly some of the most memorable turns of the year for me. this spot is so often over looked despite being with in plain view of a lift, and 3 trails that it just amazes me that noone ever skis it. its 30 degree pitch as well so it be no means low angle noodling.

I hope you do. I love MRG from a sentimental standpoint and the fact they do have better bumps because they dont groom them at all, but stowe's wood skiing is better than anywhere in vermont even jay.

I love music, the delay on this video was trying to find something that wasnt over used and fit the right beat per minute. I would honestly check out Coeur De pirate other music which is alot more soft spoken and folk like even the original of this song. It would be a great reason to know french.

I hope you like the bushwackers as well, they will see alot of time on snow next year from me and I am sure a whole lot of others. My guess is they will make you a better tree skier than what you were on.

Nice video.  I can't wait to see what you can do with a real video camera.

Steep and narrow with firm surface.  That was incredible!  Most exciting thing I did this season.

BW,

Absolutely great stuff.  Made my day watching the video.  I get about a dozen days each year up at Stowe and I love the place.  I also actually recognize some of the tree shots.  But there are so many that I don't.  I think there's a lot more terrrain that I need to explore.

Thanks

enjoy!

Nice, Josh but don't show them all the fun. Save some for us true (poor) Northeast skiers. Really, don't believe a frame of his video. There is no skiing like that depicted anywhere on the Ice Coast. Please stay in your Rocky Mountains. Do not attempt to adjust the vertical hold. Nothing to see here, move along.

Have a blast!

Dude, that was totally fkn rad and it epitomizes what I feel to be East Coast skiing.  Tight, steep and sketchy with fresh turns into eternity for those who willing to work for them.  Love the hootin' and hollerin' that echoed my "oh sweet fancy moses" as I watched open pow fields open up in front of you...  Man does that ever make me long for the winter...  Keep up the awesome work man major props to you, and oh- before I forget...  PM incoming!

Why does the Vimeo player never work for me?????

That was a truly Rad video. Looks like a great season.
