Closed this weekend (14th) due to forecasted wind and thunderstorms but scheduled to open the 21st and BOTH Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend!

I'll miss the 21st due to daughter's last soccer game but should be up over Memorial Day.

I should be up there the 21st and probably a day of Memorial Day weekend.

Bummer.

Did you ever make it up for any of the other Silver Sats this year?

This Saturday (21st) has been cancelled due to forecasted storms, still planning on next weekend.

Just heard that, too. I suspect they probably only intended to go on Memorial Weekend all along, from what I was hearing from a patroller the last Saturday I was up there. Hope they have more than just Chair 2 basin open..

I'll plan on going Saturday and possibly Sunday of Memorial weekend. If flights to SLC weren't $750 from GEG right now, I'd hit up Snowbird and the 17" inches this weekend. :(

I tried to come up Mothers Day weekend, but flights were oversold everywhere on Friday and I couldnt make it up flying standby with all my gear.

I did come up to Spokane though on Saturday still and ate at Ron's and Dick's, and golfed Esmerelda.  Almost shot an Eagle on the 266 yard 13th hole.  Settled for a Birdie.

Hear from someone on the gondola evac crew that they have already started tearing apart the towers for maintenance, getting them ready for the summer season.  These two weekends of no skiing maybe just what they need to get further along in those plans.  If just chair 2 basin is open it may not be worth going up, might drive to Crystal instead.

Who's going to be up there this weekend? Management is still saying it's on.

Snow is in the forecast for Thursday/Friday.

I'll be there on Saturday morning if anyone wants to meet up.

If they are open I'll be there, hard to say as rain is forecast for M day weekend.

Thinking about it.  Probably will be somewhat dependent on the weather and what the rest of the family wants to do.  Best guess is I'll end up going one of the two days but make the decision Saturday morning.

Now what about lifts and ticket prices?

Silver still hasn't updated their Snow Report with the details but here's the word: (sounds like more than just Chair 2!)

All terrain at Silver Mountain is scheduled to be open on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30a – 1:30p (conditions permitted). Cost will be only $35 and pass holders at any other resort can save $5.

(Edit) some more news about hours/terrain:

Hi Mike, current plan is to open all terrain except lower 4 on Saturday. Depending on conditions and crowds, we may limit the terrain to chair 2 basin on Sunday.
