Buying my first pair of skis!

Thread Starter

Hello,

I am looking to buy a pair of skis. Some background info about me:
156cm height, 58kg weight, live in Australia, I ski around 3-4 times a season for 3-5 days and I would say I am a upper intermediate/advanced skier. (comfortable on most black runs here)

I would love to find a great deal for skis with bindings around $300.

The ones I am currently looking at are the head cool ones or head lovely ones.

Your thoughts and input would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have boots? Better to own ski boots and rent skis than the other way 'round.

i think cool one is not enough for you, perfekt one or power one are better for a intermediate/advanced female skier.
you can also try atomic d2 vf75, i am 158 cm, 46 kg, i ski the 148cm lenth and love them.I feel them very stable, lively and damp, perfect for hard ,snow and crud, but i have not tried them in powder.

Unfortunately those are out of my budget. Look great though! I rarely get to ski powder here.

I've surfed the net thoroughly and can seem to get the following skis for decent prices:
Head cool one 142 or 149
K2 True love 142
Salomon origin pearl 144
Dynastar exclusive active 143 or 148 (a bit pricy but could get there)

Opinions?

I can also pick the cool one, but when you have 20 more days on snow, perhaps your want a stiffer and stable onewink.gif   so now pay $100 can save your money in the future……

any way, who can tell me how to delete my post? I have posted yesterday with handy, but I really don't understand why so many timeshissyfit.gif
