Sorry forgot to pull my name from this. Due to work commitments I've had to reschedule my trip. Hope I can still catch a few turns with some Reno/Truckee bears when I do make it out later in March. I've sure you'll have a great time.

I'm sorry to say I am not going to be attending after all. I will miss seeing those of you I know, and meeting a bunch more.
My son might still be coming up for a few days, if he can get a ride up from the SF Bay area (Berkeley).
Is anyone else staying beyond next weekend? We arrive on Monday 2/27 and look forward to seeing everyone Tuesday at Mt. Rose and everything following.... but we are staying on through Tuesday 3/6.
Also we're at the Harrah's Resort on the south side, and will have a rental vehicle.
Look forward to some great/good/decent (whatever it turns out to be) skiing, trying some great new gear, and of course meeting lots of new people!
Best,
Mike & Neill
I'll be around, but then, I live here.
We can take this to the discussion thread, leaving this one to Roll Call.
See you Tuesday at Mt Rose.
I'm afraid I'm out. Can thenext person to edit the list remove me? Thanks. I'm at number 41 now.
With a quick check of names on the list and those in attendance who were not on the list, this may have been the biggest attendance of the EpicSki Gathering - Ever! (UL can correct me if I'm wrong)
I count a total of 77, with some only attending one day, or two, and others attending the entire event. Some attended events only at their home mountain, whether it was Squaw/Alpine, or Northstar/Heavenly/Kirkwood, and some only attended the festivities on Wednesday.
The Apres' Ski events that were held by Bud Heishman at Snowind Sports, Alaskan Brewing Company, and Start Haus were all great additions to the cool vibe that is an EpicSki Gathering.
Wow, what a great week.
If you skied demos don't forget to write reviews and share your wealth of knowledge.
I'm both exhausted and energized by the events of the week. Thank you all for being EPIC!!
My skiing highlight of the week was bumping in to the two Tonys at MT. Rose and them leading me on some tree runs, then over to the demo tents where i got on some Fischer Big Stix 98s. Then we timed the opening of "The Chutes" just right with several runs in steep, dry, thigh deep powder. It was fantastic and so were the skis. I felt right in my comfort zone with these skis in the deep and steep.
I liked the Fischer Big Stix so much that i will try to get my boss at the demo shop where i work, to bring some in next year. (If he does, guess who will be skiing them every chance he gets?).
I did a ``ski and see`` at Mammoth today as with a 40`` to 60`` base there was pretty much only groomers worth skiing and they were hard and fast. But what a mountain for challenging terrain that just begged to be covered in powder. Leaving in my truck camper now for Sun Valley and then back to British Columbia.

Drat ! Beaten in the head count by rookie Gathermeisters
I just looked it up and our count last year was 64.
Enough to create our own personal lift lines ! Nice going you guys !
Robbie Huntoon ad Jackson Hogen guided. Darren Rahlves made it to the Start Haus meet & greet.

They did indeed. I met the infamous and origianal Harkin Banks. Unfortunately, nearly everything was on wind hold at Squaw Thursday. IMHO some of the Epicski members that attended are celebrities in thier own right. I skied a number of runs of Demo Day at Rose with Jackson Hogan who is a reviewer for Ski Magazine and one of the most knowledgeable gear guys you will ever know.
Had great runs with Holiday, Sierrajim, and many other bears of note.

We had a pretty decent turn out of guides throughout the week, but we had a few days that road conditions made it difficult for some to get hooked up with a guide. Alternate meet up points were set as well, but the Bears were having so much fun in the powder it didn't seem to matter.
