Not really sure where to post this... not really a trip report as I don't any worthy shots of the day (just me and the dog), but thought some of you folks who ski Steamboat would appreciate this shot from today:
Yeah, that's Buddy's head... someone put a snorkel on him. Normally 15ft off the ground in the summer, typically 5ft+ off the ground in the middle of winter. Skinned up today after pretty much 2 weeks straight of snow/rain mix and definitely the deepest base I've ever seen, and it's April 30. Turns were spectacular.
